Product Overview
The Ḥaḍramī Introduction is a translation of al-Muqaddimah al-Ḥaḍramiyyah: the famous Arabic text manual in Shāfiʿī fiqh.
Compiled by Imam AbdUllah ibn Abdul Raḥmān ibn Abi Bakr Bāfaḍl al-Ḥaḍramī in the ninth century, the manual focuses on the basic aspects of four of the five pillars of Islam: purification, ṣalāh, zakah and hajj and ʿumrah; setting out all what one needs to know to practice the basic elements of one’s ʿibādah.
In many circles of knowledge, the student would start their basic education by studying this manual. Dr Omer El-Hamdoon has translated this manual to allow those who are unable to speak the Arabic language to make use of this manual to commence their learning journey.
As a basic manual written in brief and concise statements, it will need a teacher and mentor to guide the student through those sentences and phrases that need expanding.
Altogether, an essential contribution to the Muslim Student’s home library.
